About Me

As a social worker with over 15 years of experience, I am passionate about helping people overcome their obstacles and live fulfilling lives. Outside of my professional practice, I am a mom of 4 and a wife to my partner of over 16 years.

In my counseling sessions, I prioritize authenticity and vulnerability, creating a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can share their stories and experiences without fear of criticism or rejection. I believe that the first step to healing is by allowing people to share their stories, and I work diligently to create an environment that facilitates this.

My Approach and Credentials

I have a Bachelor of Social Work and Women’s Studies (2009) and a Masters of Social Work (2015). I am have training in EMDR, Perinatal Mental health, Somatic Embodiment & Regulation Strategies, trauma and resilience, and adoption and permanency. I also have experience and knowledge in the areas of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

My approach is grounded in a deep commitment to understanding and empathizing with each individual I work with, empowering them to live a full and meaningful life.
